Tonker aims to bring you the best in DJs - and are proud to announce that their own Tim Jones has been selected to play this year's Real Bad Party in San Francisco 28th September 2008.

Tim was selected after a blind review of music from 20 US and International DJs and will be the first UK-based DJ to have the honour of playing a nine-hour set for Real Bad. The Real Bad Partyt is the culmination of the world's largest leather event, the Folsom Street Fair™ which, this year, will celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Tonker the weekly Friday London Bear Club at The Eagle Vauxhall has made a ground breaking move into roadside billboard advertising, making it the first and only UK Gay Club to take advantage of this media usually reserved for major consumer brands.

Hi Tim, how’s Tonker been going recently?

It’s been fantastic, exceeded our expectations! Every week is busy and there is a great mix of old friends and new faces, plus many out of town guys attracted to the Eagle branding which is a big plus.

I hear the Eagle garden is gonna be closed for a few weeks.

Yes, they are doing a major refit of the garden to make it even better for the spring and summer! The Eagle are spending on major works, it’ll make it even more part of the venue and increase our capacity out there. The garden is the major plus point for Tonker, so please excuse our hunky builders whilst we improve our look for a fantastic Spring and Summer season of fun

And your birthday is coming up… Good Friday I believe? What have you got planned? (at Tonker)

It’s a secret! But it is a major birthday, so we are planning a Tonker Gold party, with invited guests only, strictly VIP from 7pm – 10pm, with an open bar, loads of food, and special guest acts and DJ’s.

Then we open at 10pm for our Bank Holiday Tonker Party – with special porn star guests from Alphamale Media promoting their latest hot releases, and a Tonker show, which will have to be seen to be believed!

I’ve also heard things about Ms Minogue making an appearance too – please quash the rumors… is she coming for a swift pint or not?

I’m sorry I don’t know where you heard that, I have to be very discrete with who is on my VIP birthday guest list! We don’t want Loaded or Hello Magazine paparazzi on our doorstep!

It seems a way off yet, but what are Tonker’s plans for the summer?

We have a great line up in store, including Rugby Nights, BigMuscleBear.com parties plus after Easter we have Tonker Revolution on May Bank Holiday Weekend – Think Hunky Russian Red Army on parade!

Tonker will also be supporting a number of UK Pride festivals with our unique Tonker parties around the UK but especially in the Midlands and on the south coast. Also for the first time we will be holding a Tonker USA “block party” at Lazy Bear 2008 in California during August this year

We expect to make full use of the new garden with BBQ’s and Special Tonker Bear Beef Dip parties lets hope it’s as hot a summer as the Tonker Fridays are!
